PerfectSense Model 310e

Carbon Dioxide Monitor

Model 310e Specifications Sheet PDF

This PerfectSense 310e CO2 Monitor reads carbon dioxide (CO2 ) concentrations in the parts per million (ppm) range and is ideal for applications ranging from conference rooms to home gyms.

Fresh air contains 350-400 ppm CO2. Human respiration and combustion by-products from furnaces, fireplaces, and household appliances can easily raise indoor levels above 2000 ppm. With the PerfectSense Model 310e CO2 Monitor, you can watch CO2 levels rise as people enter a room.

According to the National Institutes of Occupational Safety and Health, increased levels of CO2 may contribute to "Sick Building Syndrome" and symptoms such as hyperventilation, headache, dizziness, shortness of breath, and drowsiness. The PerfectSense Model 310e CO2 monitor provides a continuous, accurate reading of indoor CO2 levels, making it easy to maintain an optimum level of fresh air.

The PerfectSense Model 310e carbon dioxide sensor is easy to install and support. Measurement output is via a 4 - 20 mA current loop or a 0 to 10 volt interface. A completely isolated power supply eliminates any ground loop or electrical interaction problems when multiple units are connected to the same controller. Low power consumption makes the PerfectSense line of CO2 Monitors perfect for battery-operated or other power-sensitive applications.

The PerfectSense 310e’s single gas verification makes field calibration a snap, and its superior design means significantly longer calibration intervals. Unlike other CO2 Monitors, its simple user interface has no complicated menus: all maintenance and calibration operations are easily performed even on units with no display.

This carbon dioxide monitor is a leader in versatility.   The clear, bright 0.4" high LCD display option is readable from any angle for installations where local annunciation of the CO2 concentration is desired. For direct control applications, the relay option can be configured to open or close above the set point and is easily adjusted in the field. For plenum sampling requirements, the popular duct option is easy to install.

The high-performance PerfectSense Model 310e uses an advance Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensoring systems to assure quick and reliable CO2 response.

Housed in a compact heavy-duty carrying-case, the PerfectSense Cal Kit can safely travel from one installation to another, or even between job sites in the back of your truck. Equipped with the precise gas(es) you need to accurately calibrate your monitoring instruments, the kit is reliable and easy to use.

The PerfectSense Calibration Kit is designed for the HVAC Professional who wants to check or to recalibrate units in the field.  The Calibration Kit contains a 17 liter cylinder of the gas you specify (2000 ppm or 5000 ppm), a shut-off valve and regulator for the gas cylinder, a four-digit display, and the tubing, fittings, and accessories you will need. Clear and simple instructions are also included.

Alt hough designed specifically for the PerfectSense (and other DCS-engineered products) the PerfectSense Calibration Kit is an economical way to calibrate any CO2 sensor with a calibration gas port.  The clearly legible .56" (14mm) high LED display is included for easy calibration of DCS units that do not have a built-in-display. The display is wired with a plug-in connector for easy attach-ment to the DCS monitoring instrument you wish to calibrate.

Designed for today’s strict accuracy require-ments, the PerfectSense Calibration Kit enables the HVAC Professional to have confidence in the system monitoring equipment (s)he operates.  Easy to use and store, the PerfectSense Calibration Kit is the obvious choice when accuracy is important.  The PerfectSense Calibration Kit can be re-used many times, and replacement cylinders of gas are available.  Please call for more information.
